The Young Actors Group is a professionally run acting school and agency that runs weekly drama classes for 8 – 19 year olds in Brighton and the South East.

We aim to provide the very best bespoke acting training, the most constructive support base for parents and to be the go-to platform for professional casting directors searching for young talent.

This September we are looking for a highly creative, fantastic director who is both great at communicating with young people and their parents but also happy to take ownership of their own school branch.

We will provide you with everything you need as well as run your marketing, create templates for you to send to parents and give you free training in our curriculum.

You must be based in or around Brighton.

Payment is made every week for 11 weeks a term (10 weeks teaching, 1 week admin) and we offer a highly competitive guaranteed hourly teaching rate with an incentive scheme meaning that as the school grows, so does your salary.

The school will be running on Thursdays from September 2015 at St Mary’s Church, Kemptown.Junior classes (ages 8 – 12) are from 15.50 – 17.50 and seniors classes (ages 13 – 16) from 18.00 – 20.00. There is scope to expand to a 2nd school for both age groups once they are established.

We’re looking to meet people immediately with a view to bringing you on board to assistant direct our summer show of Alice in Wonderland at BOAT (Brighton Open Air Theatre) in August. Payment for this will be per day.
