Inspired by Goosebumps by R. L. Stine, this play centres around the new boy Tommy and his friends as they try to uncover a strange mystery hidden at the heart of the school. What happened to the children that disappeared 50 years ago? And what is that strange elevator? Nobody saw it there before…

After seeing this group devise their own play last term, I was very impressed with their skills of line learning, creativity and teamwork. I wanted to experiment with a combination of realism and the supernatural, challenging them to create realistic characters, against the backdrop of something far from real. They have all risen to the challenge and told a great story, creating characters that are far more than surface level.

I always look forward to this group, seeing what crazy ideas they have. It’s been great fun bringing this play to life.

I really hope they have enjoyed the challenge and that you enjoy watching their work come to life.
