Inspired by the Roald Dahl book, the musical revels in the anarchy of childhood, the power of imagination and the inspiring story of a little girl who dreams of a better life.

Matilda is a little girl with astonishing intelligence and psychokinetic powers. Unloved by her parents she builds a bond with her teacher Miss Honey. Her school life also has its challenges as the headteacher Miss Trunchbull finds every opportunity to punish the children. But Matilda’s courage and intelligence could be the key to saving the school.

This term the students have worked hard as a team to bring this show to life. With the challenge of learning lines, lyrics, choreography and harmonies, the dedication and motivation of this group has lead to a product they should all be very proud of! I have loved working with them this term and am excited to see them all shine on stage.
