A burnt out and derelict house. No one remembers and no one dares to enter!

Local legend tells us that the house is haunted by the ‘White Widow’, a ghastly entity that was rumoured to have burned the house down in revenge after being murdered by her husband on their wedding night!

They say her young child perished in the blaze as well…

Fast forward to 1995. A practical joke begins as Zack and Anna dare Samantha and other friends to enter the house, taking photos as evidence. A series of twists and turns abound and chilling events unfold that will change everyone’s lives forever!

Was Sam really adopted? Who is the old woman? Was it all a set up? What is reality? Til death us do part…

In a derelict house, there’s a shift in the air,

A bone trembling chill, that tells me she’s there…

What she wants is unknown, but with all her might-

The scorned mother of past, the scorned WIDOW OF WHITE!

This term. we decided to perform a ghost story, allowing us, as a group, to explore how best to build tension, find enthralling character dynamics and look at how contrasting voice, pace, volume and focus can affect the tone of a play. The hope is that every single young actor felt appropriately challenged!

For various reasons, this term has been a hard one for the group – with illnesses, absences and house moving! It has however, been a delight to see how the young actors have supported each other and retained their good humour throughout. They are a really fantastic group of young people!
